@ All, Today i Assembled The FM Long Range Transmitter From KitsnSpares .This FM Transmitter Has Amazing Range And Clarity For a Educational Project .The Supplied Parts Had a 100Pf Disc Cap Missing And Substituted For a 103 Which I Rectified .Also The Coils Were Larger In Dia Then The Project Designer .I Modified That To 3mm .One Of The Coils Was To Have a Ferrite Core Inside And The Supplied Core Was 4MM So i Forgo It .This Project Had a MIC In place of A Female 3.5 mm Stereo Jack So i Had a MP3 Player On Speakerphone Near The MIC .I Felt That The Audio Was Mono Not Stereo .Voice Of Person If Spoken To in MIC Was Crystal Clear .I Ran This On a 9 Volts Battery .I Also Has a Issue That i Did Not Investigate Furthur The Output Frequency Keeps On Drifting In Steps .Might Be The Cell Voltage Kept Going Down And i Could Use a SMPS Based Supply .Also We Can Go Up To 12 Volts In This Project .This is What The Project Summary Says The Long-Range FM Transmitter has an additional RF power amplifier stage after the oscillator stage, to raise the power output to 200-250milliwatts. This transmitter can provide good signal strength for up to a distance of 2 Kilometers, when coupled with a good matching 50-ohm ground plane antenna or multi-element Yagi antenna.
