All due respect to this man but I think hes glossing over a few things here.. Demand creates more jobs, but the original jobs were created by business.. If someone invents the worlds best hair brush. It does nothing unless someone invests the capital to create and manufacture as well as distribute and advertise that brush. What good is the worlds best hair brush if no one is there to make enough for the world to use them, see their worth and desire more? Consumerism does not create jobs, it creates demand which can cause the creation of more jobs. The original job comes from investors with capital..Dudes a venture capitalist.. He relies on the same process he denies works in his speech. make sense? of course not..
