All of us who have committed ourselves to follow Jesus have been - TopicsExpress

All of us who have committed ourselves to follow Jesus have been given the Holy Spirit as a pledge, which guarantees that one day we will be with him in glory with a glorious new body ( Corinthians 5:1-5). What we have to look forward to is glorious, for it says the following from Revelation 21:3-5: And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, (and be their God) and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” But our job here has not yet been fully finished. Many still need to hear the good news and be given the same privilege that we have to look forward to. Therefore let us be courageous. Let us walk by faith, not by sight and let us allow the love of Christ to controls us so that just as we have been reconciled to Himself through Christ and have as a consequence been given the ministry of reconciliation, namely that God may be able to reconcile the world to himself through our message of reconciliation, not counting their trespasses against them, but wishing to forgive them also as a consequence of our obedience.(2 Corinthians 5:6-19) Let us make this appeal to the on behalf of God who would say to them the following words just as he still says to us: Come to me, I am all that you need.
