All people in these pictures are ordinary IT professionals who share a common belief to help innocent men and their families. We have a belief that some laws in our country should be made gender neutral to avoid innocent people from being arrested and harassed. Many people wouldnt even understand what a person goes through when his dad, mom, sister, brother, brother-in law etc are named in a dowry harassment case and arrested without investigation. Our efforts are to help such innocent people. There are lot of womens organizations who help women when they feel that they are innocent... No one even cares or even thinks that a man might be innocent when he is accused of Dowry Harassment, Domestic Violence or Rape. We have been meeting people from the police department to spread awareness about the new directive from the Supreme Court of India that a fair investigation needs to be done when an innocent man may get arrested in a false case. Last week we met the Joint Commissioner Of Police Sri Alok Kumar, DCP - Bangalore South Sri Lokesh Kumar and all ACPs from Bangalore South to spread this message. They listened to us and promised that they would make sure that this new directive is followed. Thanks Bangalore City Police for listening to us and trying to make Bangalore a Safer place. We will continue our efforts to help innocent people in Bangalore and around India.
