All polemics aside....this is a bipartisan rant...I was watching a program the other night wherein, when the interviewer asked foreign politicians what they thought there main goal was, they all said something to the effect of promoting positive change through good legislation roughly paraphrased.....when they asked a range of politicians from the USA what there main goal was.....it was getting re-elected. When the politicians from the USA were played the tapes of their counterparts overseas answering the same question, they were all immediately embarrassed by their own answers....whoa!! If you feel the need to comment on this....please refrain from any rhetorical hate spew.
