All this about Domestic Abuse talk ( aka Violence against Women ) always seem to have the exact same scenario in which is the Man is the abuser and the Woman is the recipient of the abuse. I am a Dominant Women and I was in a abusive relationship in my last relationship, it was a Lesbian relationship, no psychical harm, just mental/emotional abuse and no Men. I had no clue that it was happening, until late in the relationship when I was being bombarded with wild accusations. When I ended the relationship, And now, my ex has become a stalker... My point is, it can be abuse from either gender and yet its always portrayed as the very same scenario. Men can be abused just as easily as a Woman can. Yes Men are often stronger than a Woman is, and can inflict more damage, yet a frying pan equals all. Men will often refuse to report the abuse, to prevent looking like a fool or weak to the authorities.... Heres a thought, maybe if we started focusing on Domestic violence as a whole, no matter which of the gender(s) initiates the abuse. Then things would certainly progress. Also teaching girls about self defense in PE, along side or in lieu of Home Ed. Making muffins cant always help protect them... Society needs to change and we all need to step up!
