Nathan Thesing has my (Amy Thesing) permission to have Friend (of Holmen, WI) visit our home on this thirtieth day of January in the year of two thousand and fourteen for study on the topic of J. Robinson, and shenanigans if time allows. This Mom, Amy Thesing will be responsible for returning the visitor, to his rightful owners at approximately six o`clock, on this day. I will offer my credentials: Mom: 20 years experience Driving record: 1 speeding ticket in 2008 (fully insured) Current state license to practice as a registered nurse in Minnesota and Wisconsin. CPR: needs renewal, scheduled for recert. I will be Honest here, my son is nearly 14 years old, and I think requiring permission from one parent is a little much, but from two parents? I can understand this for kids in elementary school, however middle school kids can be trusted to make some decisions, and I also wonder if the school is questioning my judgment as well. These two kids are taking on the responsibility to get this done, I feel that this rule prevented them from being able to get some work done yesterday. If we dont give them some trust how will they ever gain any confidence in their choices. This rule also robs parents of their autonomy and does not allow the kids to make mistakes and prevents us from correcting mistakes we may or may not feel are important.
