All this drama about it being cruel to get your babies/childs ears pierced before a certain age or consent. Did anyone think about circumcision? In my opinion thats 10x worse, but im not jamming my opinion down anyones throat. You do it, good on you, you dont even bloody better, hell I could think of a massive list about how bad it is. Why try and make me and many others feel bad about the personal decision to pierce their childs ears? Oh its so traumatic so youre telling me my kids will come to me when theyre 10 and tell me how traumatic it was getting their ears pierced and how they never want to step foot in a hairdresser? No I dont think so. If they dont like them when theyre older they can take them out, if they hurt them to sleep in, they would whinge and grab at their ears and not sleep, which they didnt even do the day they got them. I dont care if you hate it, and never get your child done. Dont get your child done, I dont make you feel bad about not doing it, or other parentint decisions you make, so stop trying to make mothers who do pierce their babies ears look like the worlds worst mother and continue with your perfect mothering. Actually if youre so perfect get off the computer and spend time with them instead! Not to mention, I didnt force my children down like the photo below to get their ears done, they were not screaming, they were calm and fine, I held them on my lap.
