Allah and His Angels, send blessings on the Prophet (SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam), O you who believe! send blessings on him and salute him, with all respect. [Surah Al-Ahzab : 56] Beloved Prophet SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam said, Increase the Blessings you send on me, for Allah has assigned an Angel to my Grave. Whenever anyone of my Ummah sends Blessings on me, that Angel will say to me: O Muhammad (SalAllahu Alyehe Wasallam), so- and-so the son of so-and-so has sent Blessings on you now. [Al- Daylami, Musnad al-Firdaws; classed as Hassan (accepted) by al-Albani, Sahih al-Jami; No 1218] The closest person to me on the day of judgement will be the one who recites Durood upon me the most. [Jami Tirmidhi, Vol2, Pg 27, Dar Ul Fikr, Beirut] Whoever recites Durood upon me, I will intercede for him. [Al Qawl Ul Badi, Pg 117, Dar Ul Kutubul Ilmiyyah, Beirut] Whoever recites Durood once; Allah Almighty will write ten good deeds for him, will forgive ten of his sins and will raise him ten times in status. [Al Qawl Ul Badi, Pg 107, Dar Ul Kutubul Ilmiyyah, Beirut] The one who recites Durood once, Allah Almighty commands one carat of compensation to be written down for him in his book of deeds and one carat is equivalent to Mount Uhud. [Imam Abdur Razzaqs, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq, Vol 1, Pg 51, Hadith 153] Send Durood upon me in abundance, this will purify you. [Musnad Abu Yala, Vol5, pg 458, Hadith 6383, Dar Ul Kutubul Ilmiyyah, Beirut] The best of your days is Friday. Increase the Blessings you send on me on Fridays, for I will be told about your Prayers. Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets. [Abu Daud, Al Nisai, Ibn Majah] Increase the Blessings you send on me on Fridays, for every time someone sends Blessings and Prays for me on a Friday, I will be told about his prayer. [Classed as Sahih by al-Albani, op. cit, No 1219]
