Alright! The 2014-2015 school year is here! Welcome back! If you havent heard, tomorrow is a pretty big day for our ministry. It all starts at 9am at the CSC with breakfast & Bible study. Worship assembly at Collegedale will follow at 10. Then hang around for the best lunch in town...and its free! The fun is not over yet as we host CONNECT at 8pm on the bookstore patio! Its an important day and we need to make meaningful connections with as many people as possible! Ive been encouraged with all the help you guys have chipped in this week! Thank you! Heres what we need help with tomorrow: - Above all, lets all pray for God to open doors for meaningful connections to be made with new students. - We need everyone to make an effort to connect with every new face you see, all day long tomorrow! - greeters at the doors to welcome people as they arrive at the CSC at 9 - Be there early... - greeters at both entrances of Collegedale handing out CSC flyers and Connect Cards to new faces - a couple of people to stand by our display board in the hallway at Collegedale before and after our assembly...making sure people have a CSC flyer, have filled out a Connect card and know about Connect tmrw night and other Welcome Week events - We need everyone to stay for the meal and try to get to know people. - At 5:30pm well need lots of helpers to meet at Collegedale to ice all the drinks down. Then, well go to the bookstore to setup everything for CONNECT. - We need you at CONNECT at 8pm. - We need a rotation of people to man our display table at CONNECT sharing information about our ministry. - Finally, we need a crew of helpers to break down the event and put things back in place. On Monday & Tuesday we intentionally dont have any events planned so that we can set up times to hang out with the people we have met the last couple of days. Lets go! The fields are ripe for harvest... calling all workers :) I love you guys!
