Alright folks, THIS IS THE TIME! If you have seen us at the farmers markets or have been to our roastery over the last three years and have seen our growth and what we have been able to offer our community, THIS IS THE TIME! If you like our fresh roasted coffee, our new espresso machine, my wifes fresh baked goods, or the fact that we employ our local community and incubate small businesses like Leonas Ice Cream Sandwiches, THIS IS THE TIME! We have THREE months to find a new location for our business folks and we dont want to leave East Liberty! We live and work here! My family depends on our business! We have worked so hard over the last three years to create our business, from scratch, and out of pocket! So, THIS IS THE TIME! We are working with a local developer, one who actually treats us like were human-small business owners. We are trying to aquire one of the last available buildings in East Liberty to house our business and future business model. Unfortunately, it is KIND OF under contract, but not closed yet, with another developer who wants to bring some ridiculous corporation in, which is not even a done deal. The developer it might get sold to doesnt care about the community, and wouldnt give us a chance, even after we created a business plan and showed promising growth! We are asking folks like you, to send us all your letters, all your Facebook messages, all of your voicemails and all of your thoughts on our business and how you feel we have helped your community or taste buds with the things we do. We are going to give all of this to the existing owner of this building in hopes of showing them how much our community wants us here and why they should give us a chance to aquire the building. This is a long shot guys but if you have something good to say, please say it... If you have something bad to say, please say it so we can fix it... But PLEASE, say something and SCREAM IT!
