Alright guys, heres the deal. The written bid for COY is due this upcoming Tuesday. The presentation is the Tuesday after and weve just been informed that we have to write up a whole new script because apparently some other community was also doing Dr. Who and we lost the coin toss. We were supposed to have a meeting today but no one besides Margaret and Stephanie were able to be there. We have just about 11 days to come up with a new theme, write a new script, rehearse it and get props/costumes/whatnot. We need to pull together on this one absolutely right now otherwise this just isnt going to work. Everyone on our COY team, were having a meeting Sunday evening, probably around 7. EVERYONE needs to be there. Anyone else in RHC or just the Whitmyre community who is available and would like to help out, please show up as well, wed be glad to have you. COY is supposed to be a representation of everything we have done as a community this year as well as a means to promote this community and recognize all the efforts that were put forth by its members. Weve done some pretty great things so far. Personally Id like them to be adequately represented, as should everyone who volunteered their time to make all of our events and programs possible, who enjoyed these programs, or is proud to be a part of this community. I want us to win it, we definitely have a great shot at it as long as we buckle down right now and get it done. In conclusion, there will be a COY meeting Sunday evening as well as presentation rehearsals Wednesday after RHC, Friday at 4, and possibly over the weekend if necessary. We can do this.
