Alright this is a long time coming, but I gotta give a shout out to my baseball card dealer Vinny Actorilla. This guy has had some of the baddest breaks any individual can have. This guy lost his job as a banker, but he endured and invented and developed what I see as a marvel in baseball card memorabilia - the hand-made shadow-box card. He was able to establish himself as a unique dealer in a pool of over-priced collectors competing for bragging rights to who has the better collection. And then last week, his car was stolen, with nearly everything he owned in sellable inventory in it... Inventory that took him over a year to make. His busines has essentially been frozen and it will take months and thousands of dollars to replace what he has lost. But he endures. I have enjoyed working with him to help develop what was a growing field of memorabilia, made unique by the method by which he creates these shadow-boxes. - To the most honest baseball card dealer I know and one of my closest friends. Keep enduring, you still own the patent so the business isnt going anywhere. You can rebuild one step at a time, and for whatever you need, I am here.
