Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15). This scripture made me really contemplate my knowledge in what I believe to be true. This scripture takes me back to my ethics class and a great friend, mentor and professor Dr. Joe Davis at Southeastern University. Most christians are loosing the battle when it comes to backing up what we believe. We need to study the scriptures for ourselves and actually learn the word of God so we may have that answer that could save someones eternal life and give hope to the hopeless. Its such a privilege to have this book we take for granted. Let us start acting like we should and pick up the word of God and discipline ourselves to know more about God and what you believe.
