Always sad when anybody dies ( going to a funeral tomorrow, last goodbyes to a fellow Top Walrus ), but we is gotta die sometime, so why not live in the meantime. Never liked all of his stuff, that was him being him freely, but I loved Pennies from Heaven as a youngster, & especially The Long Good Friday , TOP film, one of the first I bought on video tape ( Betamax - yeah, I was never cool ). Young mens first introduction to Helen Mirren too, & the love lingers for them both. Sleep easy Bob Hoskins, thanks for the laughs, you were a Laaarndaaarner, & Top bloke, RIP.
