Always the same when Governments want something! They will enforce their will and take it no matter what mutilation, suffering and death is caused to the rights and the bodies of those that happen to be in the way in order to achieve it. Sadly I feel it would be no different today if it suited those at the top to be doing that - well, they would do it. Different peoples different place but just read about the Holocaust (for proof it doesnt even matter to the perpetrators, what race the people being abused are) or what happened under Poll Pot - or, more up to date, just ref IS and what theyre doing right now if you doubt me. Its engrained in the hearts of the ruling classes to herd, kill or destroy what they see as lesser people. I really dont see that ever changing - sadly.
