Am i the only one who is having problems comprehending the win we are supposed to get out of this 50-50 campaign CILIC has bn advocating for this election? I think its premise is as fallacious as gender equality in that, by voting in MPs simply to meet the 50-50 quota of women in politics, we are being tokenist and actually short-changing our democracy by not voting on the basis of the calibre of candidates.
