“Amazing introduction to Hanoi and my best night out in the city” For context, I am a very adventurous eater and am very comfortable with eating street food all over the world with a lot of hand pointing to help me get what i want. This tour was amazing. Sea was my guide and there was only one other person on the tour so we had a tour that was completely tailored to what we wanted to do. What makes the tour is that it doesnt feel corporate at all - if you want to visit more places, have second helpings somewhere or have a beer it is all encouraged and included in the price. Sea went out of his way to help us have a good night. We drank a lot of Bia Hoi to end the tour and then later went with him to meet his friends and have more drinks and cake go celebrate one of their birthdays. This was a great insight into how the local people go out and everyone was very hospitable. The food is fantastic and you can get places that you like marked on your map so that you can visit again. My top eats were the spring rolls, bahn cuon and the egg coffee. This is a great way to start your time in Hanoi, meet new people and experience things as a local would with a little assistence.
