Amazing opportunity for Bossier area spouses!!! Through an Air Force Aid Society Grant, the A&FRC is offering to pay for 5 military spouses to attend the "Certified Nurse Assistant" Program at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), Bossier City, LA. The course is 10 weeks long; 160 hours. Start date is 1 Oct and graduation date is 9 Dec. To apply for the program, you must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, provide high school or most recent college transcripts, and submit an essay of 50 words or less describing why you want to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. If selected, you are required to complete a local background check, TB skin test, and a general physical. Upon completion of course and exam, you will be a "Certified Nurse Assistant" in the state of Louisiana and can begin work immediately.
