Amazing to me how many made the attached post entirely about Obama and partisanship. Read the last line. True, I questioned the legitimacy of 1/2 the explanation for not acknowledging Gen.Greenes death. That was not the entire content of the post. In fact the last lines are critical. NOT EVERY PROBLEM IS UNIQUELY OBAMA! I levied a strong criticism, even stronger if you take its implication a step further, but few read it to the end before deciding to conflate issues and engage in partisan foolishness. The real power in my criticism is that its a bi-partisan one. Really its a criticism of American attitudes towards those who are serving or have served. We all like to say support the troops but then we only know the names of the dead when the Press makes a big deal out of a General? There was a funeral of a fallen soldier today. Can anyone name him without googling it? I couldnt. That was my criticism. I think EVERY President should acknowledge every fallen soldier! If you think that problem is unique to Obama / Democrats, u werent watching closely. If ever there was an issue to be NON PARTISAN about. Conflating issues and chest pumping of inaccurate or otherwise overly dramatic criticism tends to diminish the impact of legitimate, substantive criticism - the wackiness of much of the criticism is precisely why he won a second term by 5 MILLION VOTES.
