Amazing tribute to the worlds greatest entertainer; paid by the one and only Jerry Lewis. Davis and Lewis were great friends, with the former appearing most every year on Lewis show to give a spectacular performance. Here we see Lewis giving a beautiful, heartfelt tribute to Sammy, featuring a video tape of Sammys best moments on the show. It just goes to show how much of an effect Sammy had on other people, for he was completely willing to enrich other peoples lives with his own talent, open doors and remove racial boundaries, and take time out just to be there for people he thought was worth it; even when his own life was in turmoil. Quite frankly, you just dont see this kind of thing anymore, and it may be a while before we even do, heres to the worlds greatest entertainer, who was still remembered on his birthday two days ago, which just goes to show how his will continues to live on to this day.
