Amelia has become an adventurous cook. She takes inventory then plots a strategy. Tonight she has decided we will have bacon mashed potatoes stuffed trout. She was not so adventurous as to do the filet/debone on her own. Occasionally this cooking leads to new lessons for me. Two nights ago she made us hot chocolate. I got up in the morning and saw a load of what I later learned was baking soda on the stove, left from her preliminary attempt to clean up after boiling milk in a tea kettle. Im not sure why it never crossed my mind to teach her the only thing that goes into a kettle is water.
