The viral video star who won over hearts by working the camera, and making like Joan Crawford when others thought they had his star power, is now an American Apparel model. We were inspired by Brendan after seeing his fearless act of spontaneity and applaud his efforts with the LGBTQ community, the company wrote on the 15-year-olds ad. The company shares some tidbits about the little Mother Monster. Hes half-Peruvian (his father was born and raised there). Brendan learned to speak Spanish from the extended family. Predictably, his passions are shopping and collecting Disney memorabilia. As for life down the road, his dreams are not too outlandish. In the future Brendan hopes to have his own TV show and design a clothing line, the ad says. There is one scrap of information that should seal the deal with any doubters. His biggest inspirations are his great-grandmother Lucy and Lady Gaga. Hard not to respect a teenager who takes lessons from a great-grandma...and proudly wears pink pants.
