American Classic Wide Lightning 29er Tubeless wheelset with 32mm wide rims (external. 29.3mm internal) and sealed bearing quick engagement American Classic hubs. This wheelset has been used for one season, and has been owned and maintained by a professional mechanic and bicycle shop employee. The wheelset is in good condition, with normal cosmetic damage (slight scratches to rim paint) and a dent in the rear rim caused from a rock. BOTH wheels are true, the dent has not caused structural damage-the damage occurred in the first month of owning the wheels and they were not knocked out of true when it happened. The rim has also been thoroughly inspected for spreading damage from the dent but none has been found. The hubs have just been overhauled and all bearings inspected and replaced as necessary. 1,500 miles are on the wheelset, and many many more seasons of use remain in the wheelset. AM Classic wheels are some of the finest MTB wheels available, and the Wide Lightnings are a prime example of what makes a good wheelset. Lightweight, durable, and stiff are just a few of the qualities of this wheelset. The shining point of this wheelset is the rim, it is 32mm wide, and supports the sidewall of tires to give you a better handling, smoother, and more responsive ride. The rear hub can be changed to almost any other axle standard by simply changing the endcaps and axle.
