Amy Hahn Albers (A cherished friend in Rosenburg and daughter of Allen and Janice Hahn, friends for life.) Had such a sweet experience tonight. I took just Remi to the store with me, and while loading groceries in the parking lot afterward, we were singing that song, Hip-hip-hip-hippopotamus, hip-hip-hooray, God made all of us... I guess we were being a little loud, and Remi was jumping up and down while singing as I put bags into the back of our vehicle, but I didnt notice anyone around us, so I didnt think anything about it. Then a guy pulled up beside us and rolled down his window. He said, Dont you just wish you could bottle all that innocence up? as he pointed at Remi. He went on to say how happy she had made him, not realizing that HE was making MY day. This guy looked like he could easily hold his own in a brawl, so I was touched when he said, Ive been sitting there watching and listening to yall...and trying not to cry. This really made my day! How sweet of him to stop and talk with us...and apparently, it really encouraged Remi. As we got in the car, she said, Mommy, we can make people happy just by singing! Lets roll the windows down and sing all the way home, so we can make EVERYONE happy!
