An AG listener posted the below post on my FB page, and I wanted to share it, because it struck a chord with me, and reminded me of why I love putting the podcast together. But first, I want to say... I started AG eight years ago on a whim that was inspired by the Haunted New Jersey Podcast; but instead of an interview/talk show style podcast, I wanted one that would be a place for people to honestly share their personal experiences with ghosts—no matter how big or small. After recording the show, I found my voice monotonous, so I thought I would add my music to the background to spice it up. The morning after I put the first podcast out, I remember thinking to myself, Why did I bother? I thought it was a dumb idea because I had no experience with broadcasting. But in the days that followed, I began getting emails and found positive reviews online that havent stopped since... Lex I would take the time to say thanks for another year of your wonderful podcast, and although the anniversary its not for another 2 months, I feel like this annual Halloween special that you do symbolizes the whole reason why you do this podcast. To me it is like the Super Bowl or the WrestleMania of Anything Ghost, I wait for it anxiously for 364 days. It has become tradition and along episodes 28, 76, 101, 123, 143, 164, 182 parts 1 and 2, and now 198 parts 1-3 are big part of how I celebrate the festival. After I am done looting my kids bags for some of my favorite treats, Ill probably watch John Carpenters Halloween, and finally have some coffee and turn off my lights and listen to Lex Walhs Mega Macabre Halloween Special.
