An Audit Summary of Magogos achievements at the helm of FUFA in his first one year ========================================================== Flash back Magogo will not be FUFA President as day follows night These were the words of a renown FUFA critic turned pastor by the names of Kabuleta Joseph one year ago. One year later Eng Moses Hassim Magogo is fully in charge and everyone else who had anticipated the inevitable is in awe. But let us audit Eng Moses Hassim Magogos achievements at the helm of FUFA in the last one year. 1.He personally engineered the scale up of the Uganda Cranes sponsorship Package from a meager 350 million to 800 million. Meaning over 500 million was added into the FUFA coffers. 9/10 2.By bringing back Super sport and showing the games on TV is perhaps one of those milestones that will go down in the history books of FUFA. How did he manage this? By beating down two celebrated lawyers hands down. Rescuing the Super sport deal from the Hyenas that had hijacked it deserves credit. 10/10 3. In only one year Eng.Moses Magogo has managed to enrich our financially stricken FUFA super league clubs with 16 million shillings. In total this amounts to 256 Million. In two years this will be 500 million. One of the chairpersons from the FSl clubs had this to say Omusajja atuyambye. Tubadde tuffa 9/10 4. Never in the History of Ugandan football has any administrator ever managed to secure sponsorship for the second tier of Ugandan league football. In fact never in the history Africa with the exception of South Africa has a second tier league ever grossed sponsorship. Ladies and gentlemen it is none other than Eng Moses Hassim Magogo who has managed to achieve that feat in less than a year.9/10 5. The relationship between the Federation and government are both cordial and jovial. This explains the 344 million so far received from Government not to mention the Marakesh expedition.7/10 6.Eng Moses Magogo has professionalized the entire secretariat at FUFA. The excellent customer care from all staff working at the secretariat coupled with service with a smile attitude cannot be found anywhere else among Ugandas sports federations. one of the known skeptics was amazed at the amount of attention he got right from the gate man to the president himself. The humility exhibited by the staff and president took him by surprise. He had this to say The FUFA criticized in the media and the FUFA i have interacted with are two different bodies. My view about FUFA has completely changed, their professional approach has humbled me. The departmentalization and division of labor based on skill and experience has greatly increased efficiency. 9/10 7.He has revolutionalized the under age teams. The cubs are on rampage. He did this by carefully taking the politics out of the game and looked at the bigger picture. Today the cubs are a darling to everyone. His insistence that this is a project means Ugandans can only expect more. 9/10 8. It is only FUFA under Eng Moses Hassim Magogo that has seen the emergency of sports merchandising in Ugandas football dome. The days of substandard replica shirts for the cranes are gone. This is an era of donning the original Cranes shirts with proceeds directly linked to the Cranes. This was made possible by having a Patent for the FUFA Logo. No other sports Federation in Uganda and indeed around Africa with the exception of South Africa has reached that far! Thank you Eng Magogo for this brilliant innovation.10/10 9.Womens football has been made more vibrant together with the Beach and regional leagues. The senior national team the Cranes has started registering wins away from home. 9/10 10.He has greatly encouraged the use and deployment of Information Technology as a tool in execution of tasks. This has made work more exciting and simpler. I was amazed at how quick it was to download the FUFA statutes. There was a time when these statutes were a preserve of the select few . Today anyone in Peru or Singapore can have access to them. The Federation Face book page is a joy to visit. It takes great leadership with inspired vision to have some of these things done. 9/10 The score Board reads=90/100 Fellow Ugandans with all these 10 milestones achieved in less than a year, allow me to ask you to give a special round of applause to Eng.Moses Hassim Magogo. We should also thank the honorary President of FUFA Lawrence Mulindwa , who challenged with so many options, took the right decision to pick on the brilliant Engineer. It would have been easy for the Honorary president to say i have served my years you choose whoever you want. He insisted on the choice. And oh my! how spot on he was on the candidate.
