An Exposition: 2 Peter 1 vs 3 says: According to His divine Power - TopicsExpress

An Exposition: 2 Peter 1 vs 3 says: According to His divine Power hath given us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life & Godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to Glory and Virtue. This is how it works: this scripture comes into action in you the day you confess Christ Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. But the manifestation comes with a condition. And this condition is simple. Did you notice the Word through? It means everything written before the through is dependent on what is written after the through. And what is written after the through is this: TO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM THAT HATH CALLED US TO GLORY AND VIRTUE.....and thats the simple condition involved. Now, the question of whom this is comes in. We were all redeemed from the world, and bought at a very STEEP PRICE. And the Bible made us to understand that the One that came to redeem us from our ungodly and wayward lifestyle with His Holy blood and Life is Jesus Christ, The Son of the true Living God. And God also made us to understand that Jesus Christ is His Word ( John 1 vs 4). And the Bible is Gods Word in print. Therefore, having the knowledge of the Bible is having the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and having the knowledge of Jesus Christ is having the knowledge of Him that has called us to Glory and Virtue. And what happens when we have the knowledge of Him that called us to Glory and Virtue? We set the wheels of the promise in 2nd Peter 1 vs 3 in motion. I.e we start enjoying all that pertains to Life and Godliness. The truth is this: THE MORE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST THAT YOU HAVE, THE MORE OF GODS PROMISES YOU ENJOY. So what next??? Start feeding more on Gods Word and Enjoy more of Gods promises!!! Enjoy U̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ Day!
