An expression of gratitude for the mystery snow-plower! As most of you know, we got hit hard with snow and wind on Friday night in Suttons Bay. While cooking for our crazy (in a very good way) customers who braved the weather to come dine with us, our kitchen crew (Paul, Noah, Mickey, and David) also spent time shoveling and helping people who got stuck in snow along the street dig out their car. In the meantime, our driveway at home had drifted over, and though Paul managed to run home from the restaurant and clear out much of it with our tractor earlier that evening, it was still a mess. Our driveway is quite long and runs along a plum and cherry orchard, and many of the drifts were about 4 feet deep! On Saturday, while we were at the restaurant, a kind soul with a plow came down our drive and pushed a lot of snow back for us and widened the driveway. When we got home late last night, we were SO pleasantly surprised and SO grateful. To our mystery snow-plower--thank you so much! :) ~ Paul & Susan Carlson
