An interesting discussion - Penny Fidler - ... I understand that the idea of the inevitability of (physical) death perhaps kicks off the decay process and that if this idea can be reversed then this process may be slowed down but I dont understand the concept that death being inherent in life, as the duality of our reality requires, can be changed. When spirit is released from its physical limitations then perhaps this is when we really begin the dance? Is spirit the connection between the two (or more) planes of existence? Is spirit dependent on our physical existence? If not, why do we want the body to be immortal? Questions questions..... ????? Janni Lloyd - Quite a conundrum isnt it ? Love how you are exploring it all. And thats what we all are, explorers.....until I find myself healthy and vital in the same physical body in about 300 years, only then I can fully say ..this is how I did it. This is how I see it at this time. Life is , in fact, death...its flow....nothing ever stays the same. Your body is actually dying every moment. Every molecule in our body is exchanged with our enviroment in about 18 mths. So the physical body you have is a completely different MATTER body to the one you had 2 years ago. Its the flow of consciousness that is continually forming the body. My feeling is that the more we know and live in this physical immortal consciousness, then physical death as we have known it becomes obsolete. Physical death was sort of like the horse and buggy and physical immortality the automobile. An easier and smoother ride :-) Penny Fidler - thanks Janni.... I always thought that there were parts of our bodies that came from the original big bang.... ie star dust.... or is this not correct? and what part in this does our genetic memory play... ie our memory of our origins of life, when we were birds and fish etc...? Janni Lloyd - In every given moment there probably are some atoms and molecules within our bodies from just about everywhere...however they will be different ones from month to month. All previous memories, ancestral lineage, birds, fish etc are there...and if they no longer serve ongoing life as we choose it in each NOW moment, the belief / emotion / physical construct will be dissolved and flow out. However, I feel after the baggage flows out there is an essence that remains as a gift. Thats the way I see/feel about it in this NOW moment. Thanks, Penny, for the cool discussion :-)
