An ode to Dr. C The world lost a great physician today. I am more upset than I would like to admit, how could this happen? He was one of the best! If you were his patient, he would care, he would listen, and he was your captain. Woke up before the sun to look at labs and order dialysis. When labs were critical, nurses didn’t bother calling. Czerwinski already knew, if you had, you would surly need some psychoanalysis. We loved it when you came to talk, you should hear how so many are now recalling! While he was teaching, there was never enough to soak up. Uremic syndrome, DIC, Acute Tubular Necrosis. Crazy things for new nurses to hear but Dr. C was no pup! Of course his patient’s got better he was behind the diagnosis. As your patients healed you would see his crystal eyes light up. Today heaven gained a physician, God must be so pleased. Advances and gains he helped make are uncountable. It was a pleasure knowing you, thank you for all the knowledge I have received.
