An open letter to the Zeitgeist movement. THE MONEY FREE PARTY NEEDS YOU [A brief description, what and why] Coming from the historical awareness of our struggle to regain freedom for our people and our land, and being educated in Politics [including Marxism and post Marxism] . the first I ever heard about TZM was on a Socialist forum, I investigated, and my first impression of the members of TZM is that of a” fan base” rather than an activist base, I know Chomsky holds a similar view. To be fair though I probably have less issues with TZM members than I do with “stuck in the dogma” Socialist and Marxists. Many of you are against political parties all together, and you are not alone in that, you share that dislike with many socialist, many anarchist and many other activists. However many TZM members and anarchists, socialists and activists are in favour of political representation. The truth is; you cant please everybody, so you gotta please yourself. And that is what we did! A small group of people, including TZM members , anonymous , socialist , TVPs, egalitarians and non aligned got together to form a political party, which had the sole purpose, NOT of winning elections , but of spreading our shared vision and values across the housing estates and the streets of the UK. For myself, I was appalled at the fact that fascist right wing parties, such as the BNP had spread their misinformation throughout our towns… so that practically everyone in the UK was aware of their ideals and philosophy, yet maybe 0.01% of the population was aware of ours, that was my personal motivation, to try to remedy that situation, but all of us involved have different motivations. We are all different and we all re-act differently to different approaches, hence it make perfect logic to have a multi method approach to disseminating knowledge and information. So while the TZM takes a more passive attitude the MFP takes a more active one, and as it is a political party it does need attitude, or it won’t get any where. The Money Free Party is not involved or interested to be involved in parliamentary elections, some of our members would probably prefer to see parliament burn than be part of its hypocrisy. Instead we are focusing 100% on grass root support by disseminating our shared vision and ideals, making the good people aware of organizations such as yours and others, and just as importantly, working with the local community’s on unifying and sustainable projects, and as we win seats in local elections and gain entrance into town hall networks we will openly share info and create more networks. We will be the virus within the system and we will be taking an active part in the slow process of transition, which in reality starts within the mind, because we won’t create a new reality with the mind-set of the old one. We need your support because just like you, we are another facet of what is bubbling up within our people, we not only want qualitative change, we also know what the change needs to be.. We share your vision and you share ours… any separation between us is just a creation of our minds. We would like you to support us, as we support you, it might just be by liking one of our Money Free pages, or voting for us at a local election or even helping us canvas… we are the same, we want the same , just our approach is different.
