An update on Mark...... He has just come out of hospital and we are staying in the lovely mock Tudor motel for another night. Kids went home on the train so its a bit more peaceful here! In short he had worsening neurological symptoms over last two weeks and saw a neurologist last Wed who admitted him straight away for investigations. All signs looked like Guillian Barre Syndrome at first but MRI found some sort of lesion on his spine at C1, its not a tumour but could be the start of MS. He had three days of high dose steroids and symptoms have eased slightly. He has had numbness up to his neck and mouth! We wont know definitely for a few weeks so it just a matter of going home and recovering. For repeat MRI in 6 weeks and Im off to France in 8 weeks.....maybe!
