Analisis Prof Michel Chossudovsky (Global Research, Kanada) setahun yang lalu (8 Jun 2012). Beliau mendedah persamaan Operasi Northwoods ke atas Negara Cuba tahun 1962 yang lalu oleh Amerika Syarikat . Kini akan digunakan pula kerana sudah 20 tahun lebih perancangan tersebut dibuat melalui sebuah dokumen pentadbiran US. Diperenggan terakhir analisisnya Prof. Chossudovsky menyatakan "Amerika Syarikat telah terlalu banyak melakukan Jenayah Perang kononnya atas nama Hak Asasi Manusia: Apa yang kita perlukan sekarang sebagai warga dunia ialah "Merubah Rejim" pemerintah di Amerika Syarikat dan Israel. Oleh itu, pastikan kita tidak sekali lagi terbelit dengan tipu muslihat Amerika Syarikat. "In US military jargon, it’s called a “massive casualty producing event”, the historical origins of which go back to “Operation Northwoods”, an infamous 1962 Pentagon Plan, consisting in killing civilians in the Miami Cuban community, with a view to justifying a war on Cuba.
