We urge you to do your best and work towards defining your future. We encourage you to prepare timeously for every paper. Quality education and career development is paramount to changing our socio-economic conditions for the better. We cannot be soldiers for economic freedom in our lifetime without an education. The ANC Youth League sends its best wishes particularly to those learners from poor and working class communities who had to overcome many obstacles to get this far. We are especially proud of you. It is now important to remain focussed. We also call on the Premier of the Western Cape and the Education MEC to ensure that our schools in vulnerable communities are safe during the upcoming exams. The recent stabbing of a Grade 9 learner, Conway Wilson at Athlone High and many other cases which the Youth League has spoken about is a matter of grave concern. The ANC Youth League wishes Conway a speedy recovery.
