And Angels Flew Away It was clear and sunny on that september day. When tragedy struck with horrible dismay. When came an explosion of emence power. People on the ground saw fire and smoke from the notrh tower. As the people on the ground watched the firey display. No one saw the angels fly away. The police and fire fighters rushed in to give aid. The many they did and try to save. They fought their way through smoke and fire. To help those in need was their only desire. And onward they climbed and fought their way. And still no one saw the angels fly away. Then came a sound of familiar power. When with horrible dis belief a second plane crashed into the south tower. More smoke and fire arose into the sky. The people on the grond wondered how many more would die. For miles people watched the smoke drift away. But still no one saw the angels fly away. Then from above came a terrible sound. And we all watched the north tower crashed to the ground. As the smoke and the dust rose into the air. All of our hearts were filled with dispair. As we looked on with saddness and dis may. And still we did not see the angels fly away. As the rescuers ran back into the dust, fire and smoke. Their resolve to save as many could not be broke. There came a deep rumbling sound. It was the North tower come crashing down. Why this was happening no one couls say. And more angels we did not see flew away. In D.C. at our military comand. A plane was crashed at the terrorist hand. More flames, more fire and more smoke. With tears in our eyes no one spoke. And still through it all as the smoke drifted away. Did anyone see the angels fly away. And yet in the there was still some hope. The people on a plane did not come to the end of the rope. And with the battle cry "COME ON LETS ROLL". To free the plane was their final goal. They fought for freedom on that day. And no one was around to see the ANGELS FLY AWAY.
