And He (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on His face, and PRAYED, saying, “O my Father, if it be POSSIBLE, let this cup PASS from Me: nevertheless NOT as I will, but as You will” (Matthew 26:39)… Throughout our Christian walk, no matter how SPIRITUAL we may THINK we are, we’re going to have some WEAK moments. There are going to be TIMES when we get WEARY, get FRUSTRATED, and may even get FED UP with PEOPLE, PLACES and THINGS things. There may even come TIMES where we won’t FEEL like fulfilling the ASSIGNMENT Jesus has given us. We all experience this from TIME to TIME. But like Jesus, we have to REMEMBER that God’s STRENGTH is made PERFECT in our WEAKNESS (2 Corinthians 12:9). It’s TIMES like these that PRAYER is our GREATEST ASSET and DEFENSE because PRAYER keeps us TUNED to God and the WILL of God. For there may be MANY things we feel we cannot ENDURE, but each of us are STRONGER than we THINK. And even still, we have HELP from Jesus whom said He’ll NEVER LEAVE us nor FORSAKE us. Hebrews 12:4 tells us, “You have not yet resisted unto BLOOD, striving AGAINST SIN,” which means that what we THINK we CANNOT DO or ENDURE to REMAIN in the WILL of God – we actually CAN!!!
