And during all this time with my beautiful friend and lover I. - TopicsExpress

And during all this time with my beautiful friend and lover I. there was still the occasional meeting with the notorious D. Lurking in the background. It was obsession. Absolutely no doubt about it. He was pulling all my strings. Telling me he loved me more than anybody he had ever loved! and sadly, I believed hIm. Meanwhile running between two guys was exhausting and I was beginning to feel bad about my total dishonesty with both of them. Actually what happened was that D really blew it. So I had to finally finish it off. And I continued seeing I. One day, one morning, I heard from a friend who lived in California, that she had found a Fortune Teller who could predict the future. Why didnt I go to her and see what happened to my Dad, whom my mother had told me was dead? Nothing ventured, nothing gained? She lived in the North of London, in a little house filled with books on Spirituality, psychic phenomena, tarot and all sorts. I sat down with her. She immediately said to me, who is your father? My God I was flabbergasted. I told her my mother had said he had died and I had never known him. She them proceeded to do my chart there and then and told me that it was very important for me to try to make contact with him. If nothing else, she said, because he may have left some money for me! What a surprise. Completely out of the blue.... Talking to I about it, he kindly offered to make contact with the Birth and Death Certificate Office in Kew. We went together and found his name. Ronald Bryant. Petty Officer in the Army. Based in Canada. I wrote the letter to the appropriate authorities to make enquiries. A few weeks later we heard that Ronald Bryant was alive and well, living in California. And at that time we had already booked a flight to go to New York so it wouldnt be difficult to make the little drop down to Palm Springs where apparently he was now living. WOW. Imagine finding the father you thought you never had in your fifties. Your mother having told you he was dead!
