And its hit the point in the year where my inbox literally explodes overnight. So my dears, I want to talk to you about a few things: 1. I will probably not read or respond to all your messages. In addition to Facebook messages, I have 3 other email accounts to monitor and answer. There simply isnt enough time in the day to respond to everyone with everything else I have to do. Often Im away from my computer for hours on end. 2. This group is a really great resource. You can probably ask your question here and get an answer from experienced Shambhalaers way faster and more reliably than waiting on an answer from me. Also, asking the question in a public forum is way more helpful than sending a PM, because other people may have the same question and have it answered by seeing your post. 3. Read the website. Seriously. There are FAQs about banned items, packing, tickets (including transferring Will Call tix), general festival info, how to get here, parking, camping, the link to buy tickets, list of physical ticket stores, etc, etc, etc. Its all there. Please, please, please put in a good effort to find the information youre looking for before asking here, tagging me in a thread, emailing info@shambhalamusicfestival or messaging me. Their email is SUPER slammed right now too, so please be mindful of their time when you email. 4. I am not HR. I cannot get you a position. I do not know which teams are still looking for people or what shifts are available. I will occasionally put a call out for a volunteer or staff position, but that does not mean Im the hiring manager. If you want to volunteer - apply on the website. If youre highly skilled in a specific area and are wondering if were hiring for it, send your resume to hr@shambhalamusicfestival. Theyre also drowning in emails, so again, please be mindful of their time when you email. 5. If you absolutely MUST message/email myself or anyone else at this point, PLEASE keep your message as short and to the point as possible, but also make sure youre clear and have included all the relevant information necessary to answer your question.
