And the phone saga continued...the lesson that is learned here is back it up, back it up, back it up....and in case you were wondering...back it up!!! I am teased all the time by my buddies that I am tied to my phone....you know what they are right.....all my contacts, e-mail addys, appointments pictures and more are in there....when the freakin thing died of an iphone heart attack on Thursday night, and you have no land line and you realize that you have gotten complacent and no longer have numbers memorized...you realize just how important the backing up is and having a good old fashioned hard copy is! The good thing is Verizon did send a new one overnight...I was graciously allowed to borrow a cell phone from a good friend, so Betsy the the sometimes undependable car and I had a modicom of safeness and no worries of being stranded, (thank you very much my friend, earned yourself a ton of pearls, and Ill have to throw in some amazing brownies)...the small down side...Im still getting my apps back and adjusting and fixing the settings...small problem I know....I could have lost all my contacts thankfully I backed up with verizon a week before...I have lost some...those I can get back....what I cant get back are all the images that were in the phone....so back your phone up people...not just with verizon (or whatever carrier you use),and if your not putting it in itunes for you apple people, or the cloud, or what ever the equivalant is for your phone....you too will have the sad experience of losing images you cant get back.....so the moral to my story is back it up!!!! Learn from my experience....you also cant get back the time wasted on recreating what I had. I so would have preferred being out in the glorious day yesterday taking images!!!!
