And this is the problem that I have with this, And I know Im going to get slammed for this. The Marine Corps is a grueling and painful exhilarating experience. It test you emotionally and psychically. Personally it was the hardest thing I did in my life (more because of the mental state than the physical one) I am a loud mouth very opinionated individual. This tends to cause problems for the Drill instructors who require uniformity. But I dont think Women should be in Marine Corps infantry units. Now my issue may be a little different from others. My thing is because of the protection of our women. I have served in infantry units and I know how some of these Jarheads can be! Who protects a women when she is out on a military post with a male miles from the nearest post? What happens when we start to seeing images of women being tortured and violated by enemy combatants. How about fireman carrying? Males are here for the protection of our women. Men should do the fighting. Now like I said before Im not always right, my opinions can be clouded from years of not being exposed to this type of mess. Im open to opinions. But women in combat units isnt a good idea! I think I may have just opened up a can of worms!
