Angel Search April 11, 2014 -Anaela Bellatora - Karamia had wandered away while Arakiel and her had been discussing what had taken place not too long ago. Anaela felt distressed and worried and knew the blond angel was overcome with worry as well, not knowing where his daughter was. She had foolishly focused on her argument with the now-fallen angel and had not imagined Mia would escape on her own.Was she so bad a companion the pregnant girl had felt the need to get away from her? Upset, she looked at Arakiel and waited for his decision; she would not risk another fight since they now had to guess where Mia had gone to. Hugging herself and sinking her clipped nails to her own flesh, she waited but dropped her eyes; her mind was replying the entire conversation and again, she had not been aware when her friend had decided to slip away to an unknown destination. What if she was hurt? What if...? There must be a way to find her, Arakiel! We cannot let whoever is targeting her put their hands unto her. Perhaps... are you sure your...the demon has not taken her away? -Arakiel Aingeal- Walking inside from trying to discern the direction Karamia had wandered to, he nodded to Anaela. She is not near. I worry, angel. Tis not normal for her to be gone so long. His thoughts jumped to reasons of her disappearance. While her absence from the house twas a common occurrence with that one and she had Trust with her. Only of late had he gotten a glimpse into the dogs otherness. Still not knowing what, but in the least he was confident Trusts protective abilities would keep his daughter safe. No, his unease was that both were gone from his senses. His familial bond with his daughter and grandson were strong, yet there was nothing but a void. Anaelas concern mirrored his. Her question though...rankled his nerves. yet as he took a calming breath, he saw this from her eyes. My mate would not take her for any reason for to harm Karamia in any form would be to harm me. Have no doubt she loves me enough to extend her protection to my daughter and grandson. He shook his head wishing not to resume this same argument. He would not call in question Sabres involvement for he knew and trusted her explicitly. But... If we cannot find her on our own...as angels...then I will ask my mate what she can discover through her demon horde. His eyes locked with Anaelas willing her to understand and accept. We should search. Perhaps she has gone into labor and unable to walk. Her back has been paining her of late, has it not? -Anaela Bellatora- She paced and tried to recall the times Karamia had admitted she had been feeling unwell. She nodded but became pensive for a little while. She had addressed she was in pain but it is not time yet. The young needs to be connected to his mother for a while longer before they are both ready to be separated she told him confidently. Even though the circumstances were different, the angel child was not ready to be of this world yet. Nevertheless, his time would come. Do not fret, Arakiel, we have done much of that. Perhaps she has sought to find another place to be by herself. Your knowledge of the terrain is vastly, lead us into wherever you think she might have gone to, let us not waste more time -Arakiel Aingeal- Hands scrubbed his face, but he nodded and opened the door to allow Anaela to precede him outside. The chill in the air worried him. It had been warming with the coming of Spring, yet this cold chill spoke of winter returning for another round. Let us take to the air, we will be able to see her better that way. The deadness of the property, the lack of Karamia in his perspective range meant a systematic search. To the lake and my lake house, and the path that leads to the wooded area. There is a peaceful glen a short distance. The meadow was ablaze in colorful flowers days ago. She is likely that way, sitting upon the bench I crafted for her to sit. Silent nods were given and he unfurled his wings. Anaelas smaller, more gracile set followed suit. Together that took to the air and were at the area he suggested in heartbeats. First they circled, but he saw nor felt her. Sweeping to Anaela he was doing a wider search, they came to a stop and hovered with occasional beats of their wings. She is not here. Looking out over the property of cleared and wooded areas, there was much to search through. To the east, the direction out from the kitchen door. She would not have rounded the house and returned the direction I found here this morning. -Anaela Bellatora- She did not answer aloud but nodded towards him, walking out, extending her wings and briefly closing her eyes in contentment. Immediately after doing so, she went up in the air and her eyes swept the area around even though she did not feel Karamias signature close. Arakiels concern was almost palpable as he directed his instructions, and thus she quietly looked at him. Not a thing would comfort the angel until he saw Mia and the young were healthy and well, therefore she followed him and ingrained the perimeter in her mind so she would not forget. A brief smile crossed her lips; he did know his the pregnant daughters favorite choices and it was clearly shown that he let her have as much space as he could, given they were not apart except for hours at a time.. Her wings directed her to the next place Erak wanted to search in and both continued looking for Mia in silence, each one lost in thought. -Arakiel Aingeal- It was as though Karamia had fallen from the face of the earth. There was neither hide nor hair of his daughter or of Trust anywhere they searched. The only reason he worried not at first was his firm believe she would not leave the property and therefore the safety all the protection spells lacing her land. Plus she had Trust with her. Yet, she did not show herself. And He could not sense her anywhere. ~Karamia respond this moment! No games, daughter, tell me where you are.~ Their bond should have mindlinked them immediately. Still...nothing. As time lengthened into nearly an hour in the air flying an enlarging circle with the house as center point, a knot of dread formed deep in his belly. Arak glanced to his angel companion. She too was worried, her lovely face drawn with frown lines, concern darkened her eyes. We need to return to the house, this is doing us no good. I fear Karamia has venture further than than we supposed. And in her condition! She is vulnerable. After her nod of acquiescence, they turned back for the house. Flying quickly, faster than when they were searching, they were just a blur of white against the sky, a wisp of cloud there and gone should anyone other than angel was watching the sky. His eyes were ever moving, scanning the land still hoping to catch sight of Karamia. He felt...something. Faint and desperate. Hold up, Anaela. They both all put paused, their wings riding thermos from the land to kept them aloft. There...something. Araks head shook. Just inside the line of trees. Sharing a mutual nod, they descended, landing lightly on their feet. A muffled moan issued from the forested area beyond the very same meadow the search began. Trust? -Anaela Bellatora- Her eyes were screening the terrain when she felt a faint trace of something. It was familiar and it didnt take her long to acknowledge it had been the canine companion of Arakiel and Karamia. They looked at each other and decided at once to seek the presence out in order to discover if her suspicions were true. They flew down, descended until the slight power they had once sensed swiftly increased, just by a small amount. A whimper signaled them the whereabouts of the dog and their eyes found the small form laying on the ground, blood pooling around the fur covered body. She gently touched and searched for a sign of pulse, noticing now that they were close that it seemed like something else, a vibe perhaps, was pouring out of him. Her instinct had never made her choose wrong and thus she closed her eyes and focused her energy in her hands, slowly resting her palms in the inert body. Her breath evened out and she went into a state, sharing her energy and transforming it so it would heal the dogs wounds. It was imperative to know where Karamia was and this animal was their last resort. What she found made her gasp out loud and pull her hands back. What is this? He is no canine! -Arakiel Aingeal- Trust injured, perhaps fatally. The angels healing powers went to work. She fell into a trance and he had no recourse safe to wait. Whilst he did so, his eyes scanned the area for danger. Angels healing expended a great deal of energy, often left weakened until rejuvenated with rest. From the look of the dog, he would not recover. Twas a miracle he lasted this long. His chest was cleaved in two, a mortal wound that should have been instant. If he were merely a dog as Anaela just proclaimed him not to be. Dropping to knees, he touched Trust as he had hundreds of times previous. This time was different. He felt the angel within the body. Aye, not a dog. Are you able to fly, Anaela? Hes not healing quickly enough, this I can see. Yet he is the only one that knows where Karamia is. The feminine angel shook her head. With a sigh, he put hand on Trust and one on Anaela and willed their bodies to the house. It was not an ability he wished to reveal, one demons gifted with. A fraction of a second later, they were inside and Anaela looking at him incredulously. Tis not something needs speaking of. Flashing is how demons get around. He narrowed eyes upon her when she gave him a look of disgust though her attention returned to the dog. She placed hands on him again and a glow rose between them. Please live and tell me where Karamia is.
