Angel has had a rough week but being the strong little girl that she is she has coped amazingly well! Here she is in Texas Childrens Cancer Clinic with her supportive Child Life Specialist (CLS) and some distraction with one of the iPads from our TCH GladPad Program. These GladPads have been provided by The Gladiators and roam the clinic 9th floor inpatient rooms under the supervision of our wonderful CLSs to help entertain, distract and prep kids for various unfamiliar procedures. You can head over to Our Angels Journey to support her brave journey to health. If you, your community group, school or workplace would like to help sponsor a GladPad for inclusion in this program please let us know. We are also able to dedicate GladPads in honor or memory of a child with a n engraving on the back, if specially requested.
