Angels Tip Tuesday: Choosing the right builder! When choosing a builder, you need to decide what price range, size, and type of home you would like to build. From there, you will need to find out some information about the builders you are looking at. -How much experience does the builder have? -Tour model or customer homes -Verify the builder is licensed -Ask past buyers if they were satisfied -Have past homes from this builder maintained value? -Will you be able to work with this person and feel comfortable telling him/her your ideas, wants, and needs? It is still important to use a realtor to help oversee the project and any issues that may occur. It does NOT cost you any more to build with reputable builders than to have an agent represent you.
