#AngryJoe faces #Capcom copyright issues One of our fans last night linked us to an interesting article about Youtuber Angry Joe Show faced a bit of a copyright issue over using #StreetFighter 5 footage that he was SENT in order to promote and build hype over the recently announced fighter. As we all know, Joe speaks his mind, which is one of his more attractive, genuine and entertaining traits. Of course, you can expect to hear some negativity regarding the #PlayStation exclusivity which he spoke about in the video. Moments after it went up, Capcom had it removed for copyright infringement, for using assets that THEY SENT HIM. The final aspect of the long, 25 minute video brings us back to what 4-One stands for, and encourages fans to argue the acquisition with Sony, AND with Microsoft, over the Tomb Raider timed-exclusivity as well. Were all gamers, we must all stand together and refuse to accept this type of third-party exclusive announcement. We dont see any benefit for Xbox owners in getting Tomb Raider before the PlayStation fanbase. Why shouldnt they play it on the day it launches for Xbox owners? PlayStation gamers dont benefit from Street Fighter being ONLY on PlayStation 4. Why cant our friends on Xbox One play it as well? Were very tempted here at 4-One to create a petition for our fans, and for gamers around the world to sign, to oppose these exclusivity deals, and have them up-ended. With enough community input, we would love to see both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Street Fighter 5 appear on ALL platforms, on the SAME day, and with the same respect to gamers who made these franchises what they are today.
