Ann Hoylman, forensics science instructor at Battle High School, brought her class of 35 students to check out Columbia Colleges Forensics program. Mike Himmel, adjunct forensic science instructor, gave the students an informational presentation about the program and then gave them the opportunity for hands-on activities. The students had the opportunity to look at blood spatters with infra-red lights, learned how to determine bullet trajectories based on mathematical equations and learned about investigating crime scenes.
