Announcement for 24 October 2013 11:30 16 - 24 PRODUCTION OPERATIVE Job Location: STEWARTON Hourly Rate: NMW Hours of Work 38 Days of Work MONDAY - FRIDAY Duties include: Main duties of the successful applicant would be predominately within production. Initial daily duties will include cutting badges, clearing collars, pulling ends in and ticketing of garments with training over six months towards hand stitching, bartacking and button holing. An element of non-production activities such as answering the telephone in the absence of admin staff and dispatching website orders via the local Post Office. Essential Job Requirements: Applicant must be able to demonstrate a keenness to learn and the ability to complete the basic skills taught initially as these will equip them to progress to the next level. Due to increased workload and the importance of meeting deadlines, the applicant must be punctual and reliable as attendance is crucial as their role will play an important part in the functionality of the business. Desirable Job Requirements: The ideal candidate would probably have an interest and the ability to perform delicate tasks requiring concentration.
