Anon post from a sister - please comment with care and consideration ~ Hi can you please post this anonymously and asap. Thank you ISLAMIC DIVORCE For almost 1 year me and my husband living separately and have on going issues unsettled. We have decided to divorce as its best for us and our children. Problem is Im told by an aunt that IF divorce goes through and we are islamically separate, if either of us decides to RE-MARRY each other again WE must marry someone else for a day/night and divorce that person in order to get back in marriage with ex? I found this to be very disturbing and morally incorrect let alone islamically it being permissible! Can someone shed some light on this matter please? I mean why should I need to marry someone for a day to be able to go back to ex husband? Why would such a person knowingly his new wife only marrying him only to leave him next day reason to go back with ex? It doesnt make sense!!!
