Another CWA of NSW financial year has come to an end and what a great year it has been for Glenreagh branch. We have once again raised ample funds to support the running of the rooms and been financial enough to donate to several worthy causes locally and further afield. The monthly jumble sales have proven to be a great source of income and continue to become more popular as more folk learn what we have to offer on that 1st Saturday of the month. We are most grateful for all the support we receive from our local community in helping to make the sales such a success and this wouldnt be so without their help. As President I must say I am very proud of what the Glenreagh members have achieved this year and look forward to another successful year. Well done ladies. Trish Stabback the North Coast Group President and Woolgoolga Branch President held the position of Returning Officer at the branch AGM last Tuesday. Trish had the pleasure of pinning badges on the following members who will hold office for the coming year. Lynette Campton President, Treasurer, Catering Officer, Playtime Centre Coordinator. Lisa Begley Secretary, WHS, Publicity Officer. Joyce Marshall Vice President, Cultural Officer, Group Councilor. Vern Schwarz Vice President, Welfare Officer. We have also had the pleasure of welcoming three new members to Glenreagh Branch. Ann Wilks, Valerie New and Jenny Agresta. New members are always welcome to join, all are most welcome to come to a meeting as a visitor so you can gauge if what we have to offer at Glenreagh Branch of the Country Womens Association is what you are looking for. Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the Month at the NEW time of 10am, followed by morning tea. Friendship Day is held every Monday from 10 til 3, membership is not required. All welcome, bring your lunch, what ever craft you are working on, or just come along for a chat, companionship and enjoy a friendly day with us.
