Another Ragging Act in Himachal :/ The victim was a first year civil engineering diploma student of Gautam Polytechnic College in Hamirpur town, who allegedly committed suicide after being harassed by two of his seniors, his name was amit kumar of 21 year old who was engineering student... Deep Chand, the victims father who lodged a complaint with the police, alleged that the college authorities did not take any action against ragging even after his son had brought to their notice two days before his death that some seniors were threatening him....he was also not attend the classes due to fear of getting Ragged by the seniors :/ Ragging in India is a damaging form of interaction of the seniors in college or school with the juniors, it is henious crime that should be properly banned by the govt... Not only banned but also govt should take some serious steps regarding this issue if anyone found guilty or found red-handed doing ragging he/she should be punished in some harsh manner... :( Ragging is totally banned then why deaths of innocent ???
